Although we were disappointed that author Christopher Edge could not join us this week due to illness, Senior staff and students didn't let this dampen their enthusiasm for our literary costume competition. With a theme of Heroes and Villains, this year we asked competition entrants to find a passage from their chosen book to share with us to show why they like it so much. We had some super entries from both students and staff, and there was a real focus on the enjoyment of reading.
Congratulations to Holly, Hayley, Evie, Alfie, Evie and Sienna for winning prizes for a combination of their costumes, passage choice and reading, and to Mrs Etheridge for making Y7's day with one of their favourite villains!
