Grandpa’s Great Escape is a thrilling adventure story which will make you laugh your socks off. The book is about a boy called Jack and his grandfather, and their escapades against an evil matron. She is the mastermind behind keeping Jack’s grandfather imprisoned in his old folk’s home, but together Jack and Grandpa outwit her. The way that Jack cares for his grandfather is unique, because he has shell-shock, and I admired how they were like two best friends.
