The Girl Who Wasn't There by Jacqueline Wilson

This fiction book is about a little girl called Aurora who believes in a girl from the olden days called Tansy. Aurora started believing in Tansy when they moved into an old tower called Stark's Folly which is where Tansy lived one hundred year's ago.

Luna, the older sister, is worried about Aurora and starts to wonder whether Aurora is telling the truth about Tansy and whether there is a curse on the old tower? Aurora's mum also begins to get worried about Aurora so she takes Aurora to an old lady's house to try to make Aurora stop believing in Tansy, but will it work?

I would suggest this book for ages 9-11 and for people that like mysteries and cliff hangers.
