Is Maths an international language? Explore this question by exploring who stands out around the world in the History of Mathematics, and the kind of Maths they are doing.

Find at least on article about an importatn historical mathematician of your choice AND the kind of maths they studied. Use the:

  • MacTutor site and/or
  • Britanicca School

(See below) rather than just doing a random web search. PRINT the article and bring it to your lesson on FRDAY.

You do not need to make notes - you will do that in Friday's lesson.

You will need a small picture of the mathematician or their work too.
